Common Questions

If your DACA has expired, you may still be able to request renewal. The process is the same, but you should consult with an immigration attorney about your options.

Can I travel while my renewal is pending?

Generally, you cannot travel outside the U.S. without advance parole. Traveling without proper authorization could affect your DACA status.

What if I can't afford the fee?

You may request a fee waiver if you can demonstrate financial hardship. Some organizations also provide assistance with filing fees.

How long is the renewed DACA valid?

If approved, your renewed DACA and EAD will be valid for two years from the date of approval.
